Slower, longer and lighter strokes are used during Swedish massage to increase circulation and induce deep relaxation. Gliding, kneading, friction, vibration, and percussion techniques are used to warm and relax sore muscles. The goal of Swedish massage is relaxation.
Sports Massage $80/hr | $95/1.25 hr | $110/1.5 hr
This style of massage is best for physically active people. A variety of techniques are used, including PNF stretching, kneading, trigger point etc. Sports massage is sometimes done with the client fully clothed, specifically when stretching is the primary focus of the session. This massage requires client feedback and assistance.
Deep Tissue Massage $85/hr | $100/1.25 hr | $115/1.5 hr
Targets the deepest layers of muscle and connective tissue through stretching and friction across muscle fibers. Multiple techniques including trigger point and myofascial release techniques are employed. Elbows, forearms, and thumbs are used to reach the deeper muscles.
Perinatal Massage $80/hr | $95/1.25 hr | $110/1.5 hr
Perinatal massage is safe from conception through postpartum. Positioning and depth of pressure are the most important factors during this type of massage. A body pillow (full body length pillow) plus smaller pillows are used for cushioning and extra comfort. *Perinatal clients are clients in all 3 trimesters of pregnancy, and who are actively lactating.
Hot Stone Massage $105/hr | $120/1.25 hr | $135/1.5 hr
Smooth Basalt stones are heated in warm water at about 110°F for 30 minutes prior to the start of the session. The heated Basalt stones are used as extensions of the therapist's hands. The heat from the stones warms the muscles, and the various edges of the smoothed stones are used for deeper work as needed. *Hot Stone Massage is NOT recommended for pregnancy.
Aromatherapy Massage $80/hr | $95/1.25 hr | $105/1.5 hr
Aromatherapy massage involves the use of essential oils combined with fractionated coconut oil. Essential oils have various properties which can have a profound effect on the limbic system within the brain, the area which controls emotion and mod.
